But I kinda watch it pretty regularly now I mean I tivo the entire block on sunday and I fast forward through MOST of it, sometimes I save a funny promo. I think i've said this before but I miss when there'd be weekly review threads and we'd review every show on the block I think we should do that for old times sake USE THIS THREAD "It needed more power.""

Looking forward to new aqua teen tonight. oh, and weekdays they're going to start something called "smoking gun" which I don't know anything about. Has that even been mentioned here before? I wasn't really paying attention to the promo, but... I thought it looked kind of like it's going to be an even crappier version of Robot Chicken.

I remember back when this board first started, some guy was all up in arms about how the Mooninite episode was rated TV 14. We all laughed at him for being a nerd, but after this episode, I kinda see how he feels. I'm really tired of shock humor being a substitution for good writing on Adult Swim shows. Having a giant dick build a spaceship out of dicks and say "dicks!" 45 times is just lazy. And bad. F Sorry about being a nerd guys

I watched a little bit of the Chainsaw Awards instead. The Chainsaw Awards was really dumb and bad and some of the awards made no sense. I also flipped over to VH1 and saw a show where Gary Busey and Hal Sparks and some other C list celebrities went into a haunted hospital. Then I switched over to The Girl's Next Door on E! and thought about masturbating but my mom randomly brought me a salad. The schedule said Pee Wee's Playhouse was going to be on. 10:30 Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Dickesode This episode had a couple funny moments but mostly it was pretty dumb. Meatwad made me laugh when he said, "You're taking this well, kudos." 10:45 Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Frat Aliens This episode was a lot funnier and I just about completely forgot about everything that happened way back when I watched it the first time. 11:00 Family Guy - Stu and Stewie's Excellent Adventure This episode was the final part of the Stewie Griffin movie. I've already seen it and it was mediocre on first viewing. It was still mediocre. I didn't really pay attention. Things are better when you don't pay full attention to them. 11:30 Robot Chicken - Drippy Pony I didn't laugh once. During the Playmobil sketch I read Willie Westwood's new secrets to pass the time. Special Note! I really liked that one commercial/bump with the chimp head and the cherub fountain. I didn't think it was particularly funny but I thought it was really neat looking. 11:45 Metalocalypse - Murdering Outside The Box This was actually only my second time watching Metalocalypse. I really enjoyed this episode. Even with the limited animation it still manages to look pretty cool sometimes. I thought that scene with the motivational speaker was funny, not the fact that he hanged himself but I just found the shot of him running around the stage with the giant monitors behind him funny. That music video world premiere was a perfect satire. I also enjoyed the fact that the show had some plot as opposed to sheer randomness like the majority of Adult Swim shows. 12:00 Squidbillies - Meth O.D. To My Madness I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. There's not much to say about it, but I enjoyed it. 12:15 Birdman - Birdnapped What, did Steven Colbert want off the show? They didn't even bother having a case this episode. I assume eventually it'll just degrade into 11 minute segments of Peter Potamus having sex with random big tittied girls. 12:30 Frisky Dingo - Meet Awesome X It was kind of cool to hear Debbie's voice again. Otherwise...at least things happened in this episode. Still wasn't funny though. Well, I thought one joke was kind of funny but not enough to make me vocally express it with laughter. 12:45 12 oz. Mouse - Enjoy The Arm I like this show. I don't know how to express that into words but I do like this show.

I got home about 11 and watched Mon Colle Knights on Toon Disney. Then I did some other stuff for awhile until Metalocalypse came on. As usual, I thought it was just okay. Then i watched my tape of ATHF and found a few moments mildly amusing but mostly thought it sucked. OMG it was so depressing how badly it sucked. It reminded me of the episode of South Park where they said "shit" a bunch of times, except that that was actually good. Then I think I surfed for awhile, waiting for 12:30 to happen, but before it did I decided I couldn't stand anything that was on any channel, so I went to bed. But I taped Frisky Dingo and I'll watch it sometime today.

I liked the identical harumphing board members. I dunno... Awesome X is just a dick. I think I like what's his name, the villain from the first episode, better. Although this episode was slightly better than that one. But still not very good. I liked the end when the guy found the post card. Nice bit of continuity from the first episode. And while so far I have no interest in the show, I figure the first two eps were to introduce the characters, so... maybe now the plot can actually get going. So I'll give it another episode to try to draw me in. But I'm not expecting it to do so.

There were some good parts, I liked the soda stuff at the beginning, Carl becoming a lady and the ending. The rest was not funny but not particularly unfunny. Could be a grower (no pun intended). 6/10 Metalocalypse - I really love this show! ;_; Even though nerds who talk about Brendon Small like he's a god are lame, he really is the only one who can do random boring dialogue mixed with violence and actually make it funny and great. I've probably typed that exact sentence before. This is probably the best thing on AS since Tom, I might even like it better than Home Movies, I don't think it gets the credit it deserves on this board. A/10 Squidbillies - I don't think this show gets the credit it deserves on this board, but I don't think it deserves too much credit. The first season was mostly stupid bullshit, but the new episodes have been a good mix of bullshit and actual funniness. 8.21624987301153/10 Then I went to sleep. Futurama - That's Lobstertainment! Woah now we know what Zoidbergs uncle looks like FINALLY, I wish they didnt blow it in the promos by showing him. YUCK! This episode gets an A+, I am glad they brought Futurama back to television A- Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Dickisode I honestly liked it a lot, I expect to be pretty much alone in this! A PROMISING START TO THE SEASON! The Truck cracked me up, this episode was creepy also! I'm impressed! I call dibs on adding the CRAZY CREDITS on imdb's entry for this episode! A Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Frat Aliens Woah, I can relate because frat dudes suck i hate them! A Family Guy i didn't watch it C Robot Chicken I DON'T WATCH THIS SHOW ITS FOR KIDS B+ just kidding i actually watched it D+ yuck Metalocalypse - Murdering Outside the Box woah it was real violent, I liked it! I think the saving grace of this show is that B Squidbillies - w/e episode is called I agree with Kon, even though I kinda didnt like this episode so much! Well, I'm afraid I was never a fan of that website, and this show... I tried watching the first story they did last night and I didn't like it at all. And I think I started watching the second story but didn't get through it before deciding the show just isn't worth my time so I turned off the TV and went to bed.

I'm fcking pissed that they pulled Pee-Wee completely, I was hoping for at least another week because there were a bunch of episode from the first couple seasons that I missed (I'm also pissed that they obviously did it at the last possible second since this same Futurama episode was on Monday too ). Pee-Wee was like my favorite thing about TV for a while there and I'm gonna miss it. I hope they still play the Christmas Special. ;_; B/B+* Aqua Teen Hunger Force Dickisode - I liked it I thought it was really funny. I agree with Jixby completely, it looked like a real promising start and man I just like it a lot okay. Except for the last joke, it was too gross. A/A- ATHF Frat Aliens - Ummmm it was okay. B/B- Family Guy - I didn't watch it, I never watch this anymore. C Robot Chicken - Yeah I didn't watch this. Fuck this show, I've honestly grown to hate this show more than Birdman. I actually watched a little of it last week instead of Pee-Wee and it made me so goddamn angry. They did an Inspector Gadget parody, which should have been awesome since Inspector Gadget is one of my favorite things ever, but in typical Robot Chicken fashion it was just "LET'S TAKE SOME CHEESY POP CULTURE REFERENCE FROM THE EIGHTIES AND MIX IT WITH ANOTHER POP CULTURE THING THAT EVERY DOUCHEBAG AUTOMATICALLY LIKES AND WILL AGREE IS 'COOL' (The terminator in this case) AND THEN ADD POINTLESS VIOLENCE AND SEX JOKES (PENNY: "BRAIN HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING UP DOG PORN ON MY COMPUTER BOOK AGAIN???????") HAHAHAHA I FUCKING HATE YOU SETH GREEN F- Dethklok - I liked this, it had lots of funny jokes. I wanna hate this show just because it's not really THAT good and always throws in a lame joke where somebody dies for no reason and I'm just spiteful that any show with this type of aesthetic will automatically cause every Adult Swim fag on the internet to reach orgasm, but it still is a good show, good enough for me to bother staying up for anyway. B I didn't watch anything after this but I 'm gonna comment anyway. Squidbillies - This show isn't SO bad, but I wanted to catch up with the episodes I hadn't seen before this season started, and I didn't and w/e i'm just not gonna bother. That commercial where that squid with the mullet dry humps everyone made me lose all interest in it. D+ Harvey Birdman - I tried watching a couple episodes of this a few months back and I don't think I need to tell you that it's just gotten worse and worse and worse. Remember how the jokes involving Hanna-Barbera characters were just fill-in-the-blank, well now they can't even be remotely construed as jokes anymore. For example: - A bunch of people are waiting in line for plastic surgery coupons, one of them is Yogi Bear's gf (I can't remember her name) for no reason. -Phil Ken Sebben makes some joke about dogs being called bitches, all of the sudden he has Doggy Daddy on a leash who corrects him that only female dogs are called bitches, Sebben pulls on the leash and tells him to heal (then later on he looks like a girly poodle because everyone had plastic surgery). -A bunch of people are about to kick the crap out of Blue Falcone, they start doing it and we see that one of them is Jane Jetson. -X the Eliminator is at his mailbox and there is a wide shot of his street as the scene is about to change, Baba Looey appears out of the corner of the screen as a paperboy and throws a newspaper at his head. Those are what pass as "jokes" to the creators of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. Hanna-Barbera characters appearing just because they can. It's like House of Mouse except 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 x less funny. F- Frisky Dingo - I haven't watched this at all, and I really don't care about it w/e. Oh and I also agree with what Jixby said about how all the shows are the same now pretty much D- 12 oz. Mouse - I haven't watched this at all this season, I've been wanting to but it just doesn't feel like it's worth it. I was real big on this show for a while but I kinda got sick of it during the wait. I'll probably see these eventually. idk Venture Bros. - It was probably a good one I'll bet! A Stroker & Hoop - w/e D Smoking Gun TV - This was fucking boring and not funny, and I can't imagine anyone in Adult Swim's fanbase liking this. Wasn't there a live-action Smoking Gun show? D R.I.P.
